Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Exetasy ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Exetasy is operated for students preparing for university exams, labs, and interviews using AI-assisted tools.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or guardian. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout and may change with notice. You may cancel anytime via Settings → Plan & billing or the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation stops future charges; access continues until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated. Refunds are handled at our discretion except where required by law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Share account access or resell the Service
  • Upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits, security, or subscription gates
  • Use the Service to cheat on graded assessments where prohibited by your institution
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload our APIs or infrastructure

You are solely responsible for how you use generated content and for complying with your school's academic integrity policies.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of materials you upload (notes, syllabi, resumes). You grant Exetasy a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service (e.g., generating practice exams). We do not claim ownership of your coursework.

6. AI-generated output

AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are for study and practice only—not professional, legal, or academic advice. Always verify important information with official course materials and instructors.

7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EXETASY AND ITS OPERATORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ACADEMIC OUTCOMES ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose security or abuse risk. You may delete your account by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that should survive (billing obligations, disclaimers) remain in effect.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
